My Summer Vacations

My first trip was to Philadelphia I saw the Longwood botanical gardens, Liberty Bell, Gettysburg, Old Colonial Williamsburg Virginia and Luray Caverns. I visited George Washington's home in Mount Vernon and Thomas Jefferson in Monticello. The second trip was Washington D.C. which included the following attractions Abraham Lincoln, The Capitol, The Smithsonian Institute, Treasury Department and Washington Monument.  The third trip was Pennsylvania Amish Country where people dress up in Amish clothing. The fourth trip was to Disney World in Florida, Busch Gardens in Tampa, St. Augustine and Tarpon Springs. The fifth trip was to New Hampshire to see the famous site The Old Man Of The Mountain, The Alpine Slide and Weirs Beach Waterslide. The sixth trip was to The World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee where they had exhibits from many different countries. The most impressive exhibit was the one from China. The seventh trip was to Busch Gardens in Virginia. The eighth trip was to California which included Los Angeles and San Francisco. I went to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Wax Museum, Tour of the Stars homes, Melrose Avenue and Universal Studios. Then it was off to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The only drawback was the vagrants who would come up to people while they were waiting in line for the cable car. I remember one of the vagrants asked for money at least 10 times to the people in front of us. The final destination was the Grand Canyon in Arizona. This was the most spectacular site I have ever seen in my life. During summer vacation from school my family and I would travel to Cape Cod and Provincetown on the weekends. My favorite place would be traveling to Old Silver Beach in Cape Cod. My favorite eating establishment is Sandy's Restaurant whose clam plate I would highly recommend.
